To celebrate International Women's Day 2017, Singapore Committee for UN Women, Our Better World, the digital storyteller of Singapore International Foundation and INSEAD are co-organising a small, informal event to celebrate women who have - against all odds - gone ahead to do what makes them come alive. The event is inspired by a Howard Thurman quote - "Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” The event will feature five inspiring women who are charting their own paths in Asia.
